TECHNICAL - ECONOMIC DATA OF THE TRIP TO ICELAND.

1. One-way flight with Ryanair from Orio al Serio to London Stansted at the price of Euro 26.99. (there are several flights every day);

2. Round trip flight with Easy jet company from London Luton to Reykjavik (Keflavik) at the price of 103.94 pounds. (there is a daily flight almost every day);

3. One-way flight with Ryanair from London Stansted to Milan Malpensa Terminal 1 at the price of 24.99 Pounds. (I landed in Malpensa as the Orio al Serio airport was temporarily closed);

4. Car rental from the VIP CARS company at a price of Euro 37.00 per day, booked through the internet with payment of 10% as a deposit and the rest by credit card at the office located 1 km from Reykjavik Airport (Keflavik) ;

5. Diesel car with consumption of 25 km per liter;

6. Taking advantage of the state road n. 1, almost entirely paved, it is possible to go around the island with only 1,600 km in the midst of lunar environments with fantastic environments and continuous ups and downs. The road is almost always raised from the ground by about 3 meters due to the snow and then the slopes are almost never protected. So a trivial mistake can be fatal. For the rest, the guide is busy but pleasant. If then, if you add important deviations from the state road n. 1, to see beautiful places, as it happened to me, then the mileage also increases considerably.
